brian wesby
Can't remember where the following parts come from on Vitesse Mk 1.! I'm sure somebody can help>
Colin Lindsay
Bonnet adjuster rods. They join together with a hexagonal screwed joint so that the two contract / expand when turned to fine tune the bonnet gaps. Don't lose those nuts; I had trouble finding replacements when mine were removed as they're not a common thread.
dougbgt6
I have petrol tank supports on my GT6 exactly like those. I know this because after 40 years I noticed I only had two and had to find a third. Doug

Pete Lewis
yes one left hand and one right hand threaded so the turnbuckle nut can lengthen or shorten to adjust the bonnet set. Pete

Maybe YOU can, in which case it would give you extra points for "reliability"
PeteH
Hi Canley. Item 31. and with the dreaded NLA. One L-H thread one RH thread. I would think they could be made, but you would need a LH tap and die set. About £10 each on Tinternet. Pete

They come up for sale at intervals, I managed to get a set a few months back for about £7 whilst another set at £40 was relisted repeatedly. Most of the major breakers will have them. This guy isn't cheap but at least he has plenty of them: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/323571130876?hash=item4b5657a1fc:g:lJwAAOSw7upcmqF4

Peter Truman
A few months ago I brought a complete one from Mick Dolphin, to repace a seized one that stripped the LH thread so needed a replacement
68vitesse
Had some stainless steel ones made by a local one man band engineering firm, I supplied him with the round and hex stainless bar. I also lent him the left hand UNF taps and dies, as said above quite cheap on eBay, and I welded the flat ends on to get the angle correct. Regards Paul.
