Hi, unless you are taking short drives or do not use the car much I would cancel the flow thru the manifold. Once the coolant it is up to operating temperature it is not required in any case.

Considering how old and the tolerances of discrete components used I would not be surprised if it read wrong! All the ones I have fitted & ever tested against a calibrated Fluke caused me not to touch or add a means of adjustment. I think there might have been a screwdriver slotted variable resistor? Maybe there were errors at different points and was no point in linear adjustment? Can't remember. Never disbelieved them at any RPM. I have a modern TSSC one now.

Hi, if you have an alternator with an additional B+ terminal I would use this as the main power source and not the battery terminal. The better way. Cheers, Iain.

Hi, I normally rely on data from the manufacture. Spal details all for their fans. When electrical data is not available I measure it. You are correct I do not have the eBay fans as they were returned to the seller at their cost as the provided data was a lie. How many amps did you measure & at what voltage for the 160W fan you have? Cheers, Iain.

Hi Nigel, Your car with 3.89 Diff & GT6 box: 6000RPM: 1st-39.5MPH. 2nd-58.7MPH. 3rd-83.3MPH. 4th-104.5MPH. Mine with 3.27 & TR6 box: 6000RPM: 1st-39.6MPH. 2nd-61.8MPH. 3rd-93.4MPH. 4th-124.3MPH. Calculated from http://www.mintylamb.co.uk/gearspeed/ You have better acceleration than me. Not by much in the lower gears though. I never had a long life with uprated GT6 boxes. Hi, The fan spec looks like Chinese lies. How many amps does it take at 12 volts? probably 6 amps? Probably 60 watts. Find a Spal fan that fits. It will be more than 9 Amps though. Amps = faster cooling. Stoney Racing. it's in the name. Avoid.

Hi James, The diff would be a 3.89 or a 3.63 or a 3.27. If you have a speed GPS app on your phone; Drive a constant speed like 60MPH for example and note RPM in 4th gear Without overdrive energised if fitted, Goto http://www.mintylamb.co.uk/gearspeed/ Input your rear tyre size. You can input one of the above ratio's or just select spitfire1500 or both GT6's. Match your engine RPM to speed and you have found your diff. If you cannot drive the car you will need to get under it If under it, look for rubber doughnuts or any CV's. Measure the rear track. Only useful if you have OEM wheels. The above information will confirm your rear end if it is Triumph. I don't think there is a quicker way? PS. You could use your car speedo, but it could be inaccurate or out of calibration. Tacos are normally pretty good. Nice with refried beans. RPM gauge is normally believable. 3.27 is my preferred diff for a spit2500. Best for the motorway. Cheers, Iain.

Hi, This radiator has no header tank. It would need an expansion vessel added to the system & then would be better than OEM.

I would adjust the rear brakes again first off. Forget the handbrake method.

Love it. Do you want some front clear indicator lens? I have a few. Too many to mention. I think would look sweeter?
