  1. I am so offended by that.... I'm still laughing Brilliant Roger... Tony.
  2. I have a similar thing and it is good, even though you do have to chase the wheels now and again. Tony.
  3. It will work Roger as the set up is the same. I have a couple of mates with GT6's who always moaned about their handbrakes, both can now lock the rear wheels even on a dry road. The main thing is to disconnect the cables when adjusting the foot brake or you will be wasting your time. There is room to drill a hole but measure up, both mates have it on their "to do" list. Tony.
  4. I was watching a program with Drew Pritchard with classic cars, and they had incredible results from a metal polishing company in Stourbridge. All the trim on a Citroen DS came up like chrome, all for around the £200 mark. You might have a metal polishers nearer. Certainly worth taking and getting a price. The program was on Quest. Tony.
  5. It was an extended chrome handle with nice piece of wood on the end to replace the wire. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-NOS-CLASSIC-INTERIOR-DOOR-HANDLES-Accessories-BMC-AUSTIN-MORRIS-MINI-Mk1/254800801975?hash=item3b534fb0b7:g:rpUAAOSw78BfDrzP Like these, but with wood were the posh ones Tony.
  6. Doesn't work on most of them Iain. Tony.
  7. Try this Paul, if not the right model, it will be on YouTube. Tony.
  8. If you do it Iain and it works well, try and sell the idea to BMW. Tony.
  9. They will undo Clive with a bit of extra force if you struggle to get the drums off. Tony.
  10. I use Morris Golden Film. Tony.
  11. I would put a full stop to that Colin. Tony.
  12. This looks very pretty, a pal had smelt a faint wiff of fuel but could not find his leak. Until he spotted this Tony.
  13. The old fashioned way (customer with no money) was along piece of wood under door then jack up small bit at a time till door shuts nicely. Not the correct way, but it does work... Tony.
  14. The Rabbit solution does work as i have done the same on a Dolomite. Also disconnect handbrake cables either side before doing it. Said Dolomite can now lock the back wheels and leave rubber on the road. Tony.
  15. Have you looked for one Chris, my Golf has one in the glove box. And my previous Touran that i thought didn't have one was hidden behind a piece of trim on the dash..... I felt i a tight tw*t when i said to the salesman i will be glad to have a cd player........ Tony.
  16. It's not the truckers that worry me, it's white van man...... Tony.
  17. If it's not ok Paul, if you have any oil filters about with a rubber seal on them? They work on fuel caps. My 2500 had the same problem and it's been on a couple of years now. Tony.
  18. They do come on Roger, i was thinking the same so i had a pal follow me. (Golf SV) Tony.
  19. My modern is auto and hand brake comes on when i stop. also the brake lights come on..... It doesn't bother me if the lights are on in front. If it will stop one tw*t from running in the back of me great...... Three times i have had people run in the back of me when stationary, the last time giving me severe spinal injuries and believe me it f*cking hurts. So keep your brake lights on..... It might be you next time, i even put my hazards on if i am last in queue... Tony.
