  1. https://www.wilko.com/en-uk/wilko-classic-car-oil-20w50-5l/p/0342792 This stuff has good reports, and has all additives that our engines need. Someone told me it is the same as Halfords. I use it in one of my cars with no problem and keeps good oil pressure at tickover. Tony.
  2. Very good Colin, i have only just got that Must be getting slow in my old age.... Tony.
  3. That's on another thread Pete..............
  4. Re the thermo stat. If there is no hole in it? Just drill an eigth inch hole in it. Tony.

  6. Hi Colin, I seem to remember these being on the mini clubman? The ones with steel wheels but with a full plastic trim that was held on with the nuts. Tony.
  7. Hi and welcome SP, i think you are like me? Another refugee from CT...... Very friendly forum this. That looks a great transformation, well done for all the hard work Tony.
  8. Amazing how people are liking the garage rather than the car. But i have to say that was my first thought, "wow what a nice garage" and then "that is going to be a nice car" Tony.
  9. Shaving foam stops windows misting up, spray on and lightly rub off till dry. Works a treat Honest... Tony.

  11. I bet that is a weight off your mind, great stuff, really pleased for you
  12. Yes welcome Brooky, i can see part of your mini leaning against the wall in the 1st pic So i guess you have a bit go at yet before the GT6? Tony.
  13. No wonder you have rust Colin, you should have galvanizied it as well the tip's above Tony.
  14. Got to agree with Paul. having used their Dynax S50 and Waxoyl, i cleaned the waxoyl out of the door panels because it had set hard and there was rust underneath Re applied S50 and it seeped out of tiny area's that Waxoyl had'nt..... so far no more rust, so am afraid Waxoyl is only used on places not really prone to rust. Someone told me when it was made by Finnegans it was ok. But now it is a different matter probably caused by the EU saying it will kill you if you drank it...... Price wise, yes Bilt hamber S50 is expensive, but new panels and spraying are a huge amount more expensive. And they are big cans. Tony
  15. Happens all the time Gully, hense my comment. Tony.
  16. That is a very good idea Pete, especially being a soft top. A good wax should keep the rest of it ok. I dont like car covers full stop unless indoors, and just to keep the fly and spider poo off. Tony.
  17. A descent brexit seems to be just "Screwed"..............
