  1. Not your day, you can't even get your name right 🤪
  2. I've got one on my 13/60, with my Arthur Daley disc holder. The car was first registered in August '68 so opted for a 4 month tax period so it sowed an expiry date still in '68. PLUS I was able to specify where the post office was that issued it. The car was first registered/sold in Shrewsbury.
  3. I have one with publicity for that we'll known quality car dealer Arthur Daley.
  4. Took my 13/60 out, about 50 miles nowhere in particular just picked a route as I went along. Didn't see anywhere as many classics as you did, just a late 60's convertible Mustang and a WW2 Jeep (driver & passenger wearing same period uniforms) Oh, a grass snake crossing the road in front of me, does that count? Not a bank holiday here, just Mother's day.
  5. Yes lovely here today BUT this morning was important shopping and needed big boot so modern taken not 13/60. Just got in after spending the afternoon in the town hall as I am president of the electoral roll committee and elections are looming. Could have taken the Triumph I suppose but the town hall is all of 50 metres from the house 😆
  6. Hang on, we haven't had spring yet, let alone summer!🌞 Maybe it has arrived - at long last sunny weather after weeks of rain the forecast for the next couple of weeks at least is sun, sun, sun . . .
  7. WOW! You've even got the cable to stop you loosing, or forgetting to refit, the cap. Mine is broken, never mind though.

    Oil filters???

Does look odd, mine comes out dark but still fairly thick. I change the oil each year, about 2000 miles between changes ( I know I should get out more in it 😔)

Glad I have a convertible then
  10. **WARNING** The following image of a wicked lady might be too strong for some of you.
  11. Needs a few Triumph posters on the walls to brighten it up a bit, other than that it's fine. Now where did I leave my white stick?
  12. I'm in full time crisis. I'm not sure if this forum is the cure or the cause. Jim, you'll soon get the measure of us. Well most of us - some are beyond measuring 😱
  13. I'm sure they do in the land of imperial sizes, a little less so here in Metric Land 😁 Here they don't sell bolts just boulons . . .

    Oil filters???

My current stock are Classic Gold which lots of people hate. I change oil & filter each year and it is less than 3000 miles with no worries. I have 1 more filter left for next year and after that it will be either what is available locally or a batch ( probably Classic Gold) from the UK depending on price.

Me too. I select my footwear accordingly .👣

As I learnt to drive in a Herald in 1970 it seems normal and it is all the other cars that are odd 😒

    Oil filters???

Mann get recommended quite often, I haven't got their reference to hand sorry. Do a search for equivalents.
  18. I've located some under the Paddocks part number, ZKC37, damned expensive compared to their price but postage makes a difference. I have a couple of other bits I want to order so the whole comes out ok. Just checked Paddocks site to see their postage charge just for fun - Item is out of stock ! 😏
  19. Thanks Colin, I'll see what I can source locally - the post from the UK even for a full set would be several times their cost! Maybe even as much as posting to Ireland 😁
  20. Pass on my sympathies to your 'friend' 😏
  21. Greetings to the wise ones. A humble follower seeks your help. Many times in the past I have been accused of having a screw loose but in fact I am missing one. Well, the car is at least. I haven't been able to find a reference for this screw I am sure that you will not only be able to give me a part number but, more usefully, the actual specification of it. No doubt an imperial size and with any luck my local John Deere tractor dealer will be able to sell me one. Thanks all
