thescrapman
NGK plugs used to be the most faked, there are websites showing how to spot them.
dannyb
Just bought 4 at £3.64 each from a reputable dealer. I've seen them much cheaper but how are they so cheap. I wouldn't take the chance. Danny

I buy mine from a local car spares place that also supplies just about every garage in the area, no way are they going to supply fakes of anything
68vitesse
Used to use NGK in my Mk1 2L Vitesse but switched to the Bosch three electrode ones as mentioned on here, the ones I bought do have an R suffix which hasn't caused a problem. JohnD
"Appears to be a good deal on NOS, NGK BP5E plugs on Ebay. £6.70 for 6 (inc postage)" Spark plugs for £1.10 each? If it looks to good to be true, ...... NGK are a favourite makes to be faked. John
daverclasper
Well I contacted the seller to confirm the price and they said that price was for one only. The add, had a unit price of £0.55 shown, which to my maths would have meant £3.30 for six. They are listed as NOS and photo show's a larger tatty/aged box. Will cancel my order. Apologies for the mis information
SpitFire6
Hi, Why NGK BP5E? Is that the recommended for your engine? NGK BP5ES are available for £2.10 from https://www.gsparkplug.com/1x-ngk-copper-core-spark-plug-bp5es-6511.html
