I'd turned into a side rode100yds from my brother-in-law's and he took me to the Triumph main dealers. He stood in the road waving the traffic by and I jacked the car up (scissor jack!!!!) and did the job. Took the car home and immediately did the other side. I'm not allowed to post the pictures; for one thing they'd put you off your tea and give you nightmares, but for some a jack would suffice, as long as it was supported by a crane and a full team of structural engineers...
