potey
ha thanks chaps I will get some up to date pics very soon, like I say ive had the car a while but not done much to it in last couple of years as I have been restoring/rebuilding my mk1 Escort, but that's ready now hence why ive been doing the triumph. I presume you guys know what a hurricane is- for those that don't its a fibreglass body which goes straight onto triumph chassis, ( I think you can stil buy the bodyshells under the name of Caberg Hurricane) the orig car is a 1973 L reg gt6, engine is very sweet as I think its been rebuilt in the past not actually driven the car yet. I have to buy some seats for it, paint the roll bar and install some seat belts then its pretty much ready, cant wait to start driving it

Peter Truman
there a rare breed, one came up for sale here in Aus last year must be the only one in captivity here, originally it was listed in Queensland but then listed here in a Vic country city of Bendigo by a trader it sold very quickly for around $30k a good price. Always liked the Hurricane style Peter T

They look like standard (early) Spitfire/GT6/Herald/Vitesse steel wheels to me. Missing hub caps and in need of a clean up.
potey
Hi chaps, yes they were original old crappy wheels, have some minilite stlye wheels on it now! I am going to take some decent pics of it this week and post them up, I only have a few small jobs to do on it now ie sort out the screen washers, mount the interior mirror and tidy up some wiring, then I need to sort out something for the front grill.
