  1. If the pin you are referring to, is the pivot for the release arm, that is on the other side Hope this helps
  2. Hi If you can engage gears but no drive sounds like the clutch is slipping. Need a new clutch I think.
  3. Hi Paul They can be a pain to bleed sometimes, make sure the bleed nipple is on the top of the cylinder above the pipe. If not simply swap them round. Also worth checking behind the rubber dust cover on the cylinder for leaks, any cruddy white bits mean its past it best and needs replacing. Hope this helps

  20. Hi Hagg Thudding is usually uj's not tight enough Were the uj joints set tight, With oversized circlips? You should be able to stand a driveshaft up on it's flange without it falling over, got to be that tight! Also check the uj cups are not turning in the yokes or flanges I had the same problem with my spitfire cured with a new driveshaft and uj Hope this helps
  21. Hi all Triumph 2500 saloon I get a high pitched whining noise from my front suspension when on turning full lock. I assume it is coming from the struts? Should they be lubricated? (also get the same noise from my combo work van) thanks in advance
  22. Hi I would check trunnion bushes in bearing housing. You may need to dismantle check properly. Good luck!
  23. Roger The studs are spaced the same. I have a 1360 manifold fitted to a 1500 engine, so I can see no problem. Hope this helps
  24. HI Ian I had this problem with my gearbox flange. Sounds like a bodge, but I used chemical metal body filler on the pits then sanded smooth. It's never leaked since and that's over 10 years!! May be worth a try. Good luck!
