johny Posted March 21, 2023 Report Share Posted March 21, 2023 The Vitesse/GT6 workshop manual definitely discounts black as the old photos show a lighter colour for the housing but of course that could be blue, silver or even a sandy yellow... Gully Posted March 22, 2023 Report Share Posted March 22, 2023 Mine had been painted silver at some stage in its life, but the paint had gone soft / tacky. When I wiped it away the filter bowl was pre-finished in black. However, mine originally came from a Vitesse (so is the larger bowl and may have been a different shade to the GT6!).
