  1. Hi Matt, welcome from a near neighbour. Come to our TSSC monthly meet at The Raven, Hexton, and you will be amazed at the expert help available. Nick
  2. I own another rare car - a Triumph GT6 that doesn't overheat !
  3. Our 17 year old Ford Puma celebrated reaching 40000 miles today without ever requiring welding:
  4. Baldock Classic Car Show is on again this Sunday, 20 May. It takes place in the High Street and Market Place and is usually well supported: http://www.baldockfestival.org/wp/event/baldock-classic-car-show/
  5. Hi Sheridan and welcome to the forum. The GT6 Mk3 is definitely my favourite Triumph too !
  6. Took the GT6 for a run in the sun this morning:
  7. A Herald made an appearance at the Lordship Arms, Benington classic meet yesterday evening:
  8. Well someone is bidding for it .... Three bidders at the moment ....
  9. Oh dear, you must be really screwed up ....
  10. Bought them from Rimmer, part number RR1370, cost £23.33 + Vat in September 2016. Made several attempts to stop the rack slipping before going for one solid and one rubber mounting which appears to have cured the problem.
  11. My solid mounts allowed the rack to slide particularly when using a hard lock at slow speeds to pull away from a kerb. Now have one solid mount and one rubber mount - a tip I read somewhere (maybe on here) and that has solved the rack movement problem.
  12. Hi Tom, welcome to the forum and good luck with your search.
  13. Hi Beefeater, welcome to the forum.
  14. I fitted a lowering block and longer studs from Canleys when the new rear spring on my GT6 Mk3 sat too high. Had to re-thread the new studs as the threads were too short to clamp the GT6 spring.
  15. I had exactly the same problem when I first got my GT6. When closing the fuel flap the rubber seal was not pressing tightly against the petrol inlet pipe. I have improvised a spacer behind the seal as a temporary fix until I can work out a permanent solution.
  16. I am sure that you will have some fun in your new toy !
  17. I have similar problems on my GT6 and priming the pump first has certainly improved starting after a spell sitting unused.
  18. Not sure if there is a cheaper way than paying for a "Heritage" certificate - but I am sure some one else will know. https://www.britishmotormuseum.co.uk/archive/heritage-certificates
