All,

We are in the process of preparing the forum to create a TSSC Members only section, for TSSC members to have discussions that can only be read by other TSSC members, rather than the entire Forum membership.

To start this process, we need to be able to connect your forum user name with the main membership database, and therefore we need you to enter your membership number.

If you are not a TSSC member, then simply enter N/A when prompted and carry on as normal.

Your membership number is not going to be publicly displayed, it is for Forum admin purposes only.

If you want anyone else to know your membership number, then include it in your signature.

Jeff - Same with me. I originally though that I was being spammed and only put in the most basic info. Only later did I read Kevin's post and had to go in and correct everything.

You're a suspicious man Mr Wolf.

What is the time?

I watched all the series of the not very good NCIS Miami, because there was an agent called Mr Wolf, but not once was he asked the time!

Hmm!. that`s interesting, not just because I could not log on, which prompted me to do some checking. My Membership lapsed during the the last lockdown!. So now I have to chase up and re-new. Dohh!. Are H O working normal hours currently?. Or on short time?.

I renewed on line this year, i should of saved a few quid and done it by direct debit i know but i never do! As for loging on its always automatically done as i only have a smart phone and view from that only. So have not been asked for my membership number, if i had to put that in all the time it would be a complete ass!

Agreed. I use my android mobile and my desktop and seem to be permanently logged in both. No need for any 'extra' input.

Mind, if I buy from the 'shop' I do ensure I am logged in, just in case I miss the discount :)

Thats the strange bit, on the forum its automatic but on the website i have to click the login option! Every time!!! I don't have to put in the details as they are remembered just press login!

I will look into an international membership once I et a better grip on my restoration project. I just found out I have arthritis in my right knee and they want to repair it with titanium  (my son seems to think I will turn into iron man). It won't be a financial burden (German national healthcare) but it does mean a lot of Dr. visits I wasn't planning on and I may have to slow things down a bit...

I really enjoy this forum and the banter so by not being a member I would feel I am "missing out" 🙂

I just signed out and in again but wasn't prompted for my membership number. So now I'm confused, although I use the same username for Tssc and here.

A little confused

Aidan,

YOU were not prompted for you membership number when you logged in as YOU have already entered it in the past when YOU were first prompted for it.

One only gets prompted once, and once entered one doesn't get prompted again.

As explained at the start of the thread, we are trying to link the Forum with the main Club membership database so that we can create a TSSC members only area of the Forum (the Forum is open to anyone that joins the Forum - you don't have to be a member of the TSSC to be a member of the Forum).  This project will take quite a while to get off  the ground, but to make it work we need to know the membership number associated with a user name.

Angie seems to be working all hours from what I can tell, I am sure she said she is back in the office regularly now as well.
